Coil Motor Station Voltage And Motor Current Connections

Connect the voltage and current measurement cables to the correct Px60 inputs, coils, and motor.

Connect the measurement cables

Connect the cables labeled Voltage for voltage measurements and the cables labeled Current for current measurements.

  • On the P360+, connect the cables to the inputs labeled Coil (U1, U2) and Motor (U, I).
  • On the P260+, connect the cables to the inputs labeled Voltage / Coil (U) (I).

  • ACTAS P360+ also offers the option of recording three voltages during a switchgear test. Two measurement inputs with a measuring range up to a maximum of 300 V and one measurement input with a measuring range up to a maximum of 500 V are provided for this purpose.
  • ACTAS P260+ has one universal measurement input with a measuring range up to a maximum of 500 V.
  • With P260+ and P360+, the motor current can be measured directly via a shunt integrated into the test system. The current measurement has a measuring range up to 100 A.

Connect to the coil or motor

Connect the black and red plug to the correct coil or motor.

  • The motor voltage can be recorded in parallel with the motor current via measurement input U.
  • Because the test instruments have only one measurement input for motor current, the motor current test for breakers with a single-pole drive must be carried out pole by pole. For a full test of all three drives, three records must be made. If the motor-loaded mechanism is controlled sequentially, the motor current of all tensioning motors can be measured in a single measurement.
